I usually switch between Marlboro reds and Marlboro Virginia blend. This experiment was done with Virginia Blend which burn slightly slower.

Marb 72's $6.56
The Virginia blend gave me 12 drags and the 72's gave me 10.
So, for 90 cents less I still got a satisfying cigarette.
