Keith Olbermann ~ Nobody's Phül ~ 3.06.09

This will be a regular feature on Saturdays...but I won't be near a computer tomorrow so I'm posting it now.........
I can see now, only 46 days into the Obama administration, that kicking around the GOP is going to be ridiculously easy. So I've decided to place a positive element to my blog and give weekly kudos to an individual I view to be a great American. Someone that contributes to this nation and/or the world in a tremendous way.
I'm kicking this off by tipping my hat to Keith Olbermann. I was slow to part ways with CNN and cross over to MSNBC, but now I think the transition is complete. Mr. Olbermann has made the move refreshingly easy. His rapid fire, fact filled and ultra partriotic approach to current events is like a glass of lemonade in the middle of August. His quick wit and sense of humor make news that is often bleak somehow not so depressing. My evening always ends with 3 hours of MSNBC. THE RACHEL MADDOW SHOW bookended by COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN. I'm always on top of the news. Ofcourse, the news options out there are limitless. Yet I catch myself feeling that I need to watch him twice in case I missed something vitally important in the coverage of the world around us. Nearly every night I catch something in the rebroadcast of his show that I'm glad I grasped during the encore. So much media coverage is recycled with a different anchor reading the same essential script. Keith's approach is fresh and consistently insightful. He gets my blood pumping and I often catch myself yelling at the television in disgust or cheering him on in exhilaration. Mr. Olbermann, in the words of Michele Bachmann..."YOU BE DA MAN!" (sorry, I couldn't resist)......but you really are. Thank you for your work and for the sake of our nation...never stop.
